Our experienced engineers and technicians design, plan and realize your projects for you. We use the most advanced means and methods and implement your wishes in real systems and machines. We always adhere to the standards and machine guidelines applicable to the project (2006/42/EC).

Project management

Also in engineering, k-tech consolidate all competences and resources under one roof. This allows us to take over the planning and project responsibility right from the first moment. We use our internal project management tool to plan the entire process so that the project runs smoothly. At regular intervals, we carry out internal and external project updates to keep you (our customer) always informed about the temporal, technological and financial status. Of course, we also coordinate the cooperation with suppliers during the entire order processing.

Conception and design

During conception and design, the technical, methodological, and systematic approaches are captured and evaluated. The most important machine components are already defined, and the core processes are considered. This preliminary work is used both to create your offer and as a basis for the later construction phase.

Calculations & layout

k-tech supports you in the layout of dimensions, processes, control concepts and components. We also check the strength of components. We can carry out these layouts directly in-house, with partners or with the manufacturer. The various analysis and simulation methods help us to optimize your product and your process flow so that you get the best result in the end.

Construction

After the conception phase and acceptance by the customer, the construction is the next step. In this phase we create detailed assemblies and identify the components that will be used. In addition to the 3D model, we also create the associated parts lists, assembly drawings, production drawings, CAD-CAM programs, eroding programs, documentation and much more.

We use the following CAD tools:

  • Autodesk Inventor
  • SolidWorks
  • AutoCAD

Documentation

Our tasks not only include the development and manufacture of your product, but also sustainability. In order to guarantee this, we are able to create, in addition to the operating instructions, the user manual, spare and wear parts lists, maintenance instructions, technical documents relating to mechanic, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems and the necessary software. We also provide you with the acceptance protocols, the EC declaration of conformity and the CE mark.

Examination & creation of EC declarations of conformity

If you want to put a machine into productive use in Europe, you need a valid EC declaration of conformity in accordance with the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC). In addition to various documentation, a risk assessment in accordance with ISO 12100 and an assessment of machine safety in accordance with ISO 13849 are required.

At k-tech, we produce the necessary documentation for you, as well as the EC declaration of conformity in accordance with the applicable EU directives.

Maintenance & service

You are aware of it. Machines are not free. It is therefore essential to take care of them, thus increasing their lifespan. We will be glad to do this for you. We can analyse and implement customer-specific and system-related maintenance and repair work for you so that your production runs longer and smoothly. Our scope of service not only includes cleaning and maintenance, but also optimization, extension, updates, risk minimization and subsequent documentation. With us, your machines are in professional hands.

Retrofit

Do you have an existing system that you would like to align for other products or bring up to date? Our experienced team can support you with all requirements, such as:

  • Replacement of individual stations or assemblies
  • Replacement of electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Replacement of control technology (PLC, controllers, robots, etc.)
  • Issuing the EC declaration of conformity or CE-marking
